As you continue down this page you will see me as a designer. One that does not believe in limits or "I can not dos". I believe in thinking outside the western view of traditional boots. As you will see I can do traditional western wear but making a custom boot should be tailor to you! Each design is unique to the wearer, each stitching tells a story, each toe made for you, each boot not like the other. No two tops will ever be the same and no two boots will be the same, your boots are an extension of you and I want to bring your story to life; in what protects you from the ground up. Made for a working cowboy but tells the story of you!

What makes a well made pair of cowboy boots? For me this can be an open ended question! Are you looking for a pair of boots that can withstand the everyday task of caring for animals in the rain, mud, dirt, fecal matter, dust, snow and etc.? Or do you want a boot you can look good in and feel proud of? Or does the boot tell a story, makes you think and wonder what was in the mind of the maker? Or all of the above?
For me I want materials that have been tested in all of these environments! I want to know what I produce will last the test of time and only break down because you are starting to do the same. I want the boot to mold to your foot, but I also want you to be apart of the build. Most individuals do not care to be apart of the boot process. They want a boot that works and last (value for their money). So my question to you is do your boots last?
If I open your boots will I find metal and leather; or will I find foam, fiber board, gemming, low quality leather, machine computerized stitching and nothing that reflects your personality? You probably spent good money for those boots to. Did the sells person tell you if the boot works for your environment? Not all leather is created equal and not all boots are made the same.
When I started this journey I destroyed hundreds of pairs of boots to see how they worked and were constructed. I used them in the fields and caring for live stock and 95% of the time the store bought boots never lasted. I'm sure we have all faced this conundrum at one point or another. Today's boots are meant to be thrown away so you can buy another pair. Rarely can these boots be repaired.
So with the help of my mentor and his 60+ years in footwear, I have sought out how to make a truly custom and great boot. No matter the elements, if I have not tested them I will not try to sell them to anyone, PERIOD! A true custom boot should be only leather, rubber, metal and more leather; and nothing more. With all leather ethically sourced and something made from some strange ingredients (also known as vegan leather), I'm sure we can figure out how to make your dream come true.
SO what is my process? We start with measurements. From there we figure out leathers, your own pattern (I will not reuse a pattern for someone else; your feet are never going to be like someone else so why should your boots) and stitching colors. We also come up with a plan for the toe design, height and shape of the boot (heel included). You will then provide me with a drawing, or something that is YOU! Remember these are your boots and you should feel like you designed these boots. Then I get to work. I do all the hard work of getting the boot made. Then we have first fit, where you decide how the boot works and feels on your foot. I will finish the boot and you get back to work/life enjoying something you helped to make. Simple for you but a passion for me.
Time! How long does it take. That depends on you and the types of leather you want to use; remember not all leather is created equal.
Cost! Prices start at $850 and go up depending on materials used.
What do I use: Leather, metal, rubber and more leather. EVERY pair is hand tied into the leather insole, that is also treated for water, bacterial and etc.
When do you pay: You pay $200.00 down and the rest when the boots are made to YOUR liking.

The Jungle Boots
They are made up of Blue African Lion on the Vamp, Rhinoceros on the counter, Wisent for the front and back quarter, with giraffes made from giraffe leather, elephant from elephant leather, hippo from hippo leather, grass and leaves made from Seaweed “leather”, zebra hair on hide for the collar and the top piping is giraffe leather and the side seam is Cape Buffalo. The toe is called “The Stealth Bomber Toe”, with a 2 1/4” heel and a rhinoceros leather spur ledge, with a 16” shaft.
Waxed Yak
Full Yak Skin (first oil wax yak leather) boots finished for a client. First time Yak skin has been made like this.

Reindeer hide leather, top to bottom. Originally a hair on hide. Custom toe in a 16" shaft.
The Blue Suede Yak
This is the first time Yak leather has been made into a suede leather. A process I developed to make Yak more universal to bovine leather. This boot was co-designed by my best friend and the late Dr. Yvette. Collaborating on a boot can be a challenging thing to do, especially when one of the designers has no boot making knowledge. She brought in a different view that pushed my limits on what I could do. Her ideas with the 24K Gold and Lab Created Diamonds, helped to set this boot apart from anything on the market today. We used Colorado White Moose for Elvis' white and iconic attire, stitching to help bring his face and guitar to life. This boot was a dream come true and one of my favorite experiences of my life.
1906 Sea Turtles
This is a boot near and dear to my heart. A boot made from my grandfathers first pair of cowboy boots purchased in 1906. Rehydrating the leather to start these boots was my first challenge, the second was finding more sea turtle leather. I had to remove the color from the boots and later the purse that I found in full sea turtle. The sea turtle is laid on a beach of heavily waxed elephant ear. The Beach/Desert Roses are made from real roses, The water from Yak leather, the sun from kangaroo, the white leather from Colorado Elk Leather, Orange leather is Water Buffalo, Pink Leather is Italian Lamb and the red leather is bleached and redyed Yak Leather. Creating a boot from old leathers and new processes was my way of creating old and new life but set in a scene that honored the sea turtle and my grand father.
The Dream Boots
Made for one of my best friends. This is a boot she dream about in her 20s and brought to life from that memory. Made of full Colorado Deer Leather. The Top rolls down when needed to create and ankle boot.
